We understand that components such as Carbon Ceramic Brakes, alacantara and suede interiors, Aftermarket Carbon Fibre parts and Leather seats require specialist care and attention.
When Valeting a car, it isn't just a case of spray water wherever you like and hope for the best. We understand that Vehicles are delicate intricate machines, containing mechanical and electrical components crucial to the vehicle's operating system. That is why we never spray water or chemicals directly into intakes, air vents or exhausts and never start work on a hot vehicle.
Unlike others, we never use Brushes on front faces of wheels to avoid scratches and damage. Premium microfibre cloths are used for all of our processes, with no cross contamination between interior and exterior cloths. We go as far to ensure that wheel cloths, polishing cloths, drying cloths, glass cloths, sealant cloths and application cloths are kept seperate at all times, during the service to your vehicle, but also out of sight in storage and washing. Our commitment to quality and precision is consistent and ongoing, from the minute we pack equipment in the morning to the second we finish packing away at the end of the day.
Not only do we use the finest Premium Microfibre cloths, we also utilise Waffle-Weave Cloths in order to clean windows. Waffle Weave cloths are better suited for glass than Microfibre, as their lower density means that they glide over glass easier, leaving a streak free window finish. For the drying process, we use Twisted - Loop Drying Towels, so densely packed and ultra thick for maximum water absorption, leaving your vehicle with a streak free finish. These cloths use a Premium 70/30 Korean Blend of microfibre, unlike many who don't notice they are using the cheaper blend alternatives - we pay close attention to these small but crucial details.
Interior refinement: we do more than "just a hoover"
At Scuderia, we have a wide range of tools and equipment on offer in order to get the best out of our service. We can tailor your interior clean by having steamers, wet and dry vacs, air compressors and drill brushes to hand. This high level of investment into the company ensures that we can complete an efficient, quality service.
When conducting Interior Details, many skip the step of neutralising surfaces after cleaning. Neutralising surfaces, especially after using strong chemicals, is important as it eliminates the presence of heavy odours and stops the customer suffering from potential skin sensitivities and allergic reactions. After all, we may be servicing your vehicle, but at the heart of any vehicle, is the driver.
Neutralising chemicals also stops them "reactivating" when wet again, by restoring surface pH.
Cleaning and Maintaining Leather isn't as simple as whack on an All Purpose Cleaner and hope for the best. We use products specifically designed for leather in order to clean and condition leather seats. Never, do we use hot steam as this can damage the fibres and soak through the porous surface. By regularly conditioning and cleaning leather, you can retain the natural oils that keep leather soft and resistant to wear and tear.
Arguably, there is a lower margin for error when detailing the interior of a car as there are many more electrical components. That is why we take uptmost care when cleaning dashboards, centre consoles and buttons. Modern cars especially, contain expensive systems and screens; our methods ensure these are not damaged. We never spray harsh chemicals directly onto centre consoles, nor do we use steamers on areas where excess water ingress could damage electrics.
